I went to the Man of the Woods Tour from Justin Timberlake. Read here my review.
People who know me know that I am crazy about Justin Timberlake, so I was sooooo exited to go see him at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and to witness his Man of the Woods Tour. And man he did not disappoint. It is safe to say that he is one of the biggest performing artists of this time.
After all those years that he’s been in the show business (starting at the Mickey Mouse club), he still got it. And how. What a show, what a voice and the man can dance! His album Man of the Woods is a little bit different what we know from him, a little bit more grown up, but still, very Timberlake. Somehow he knows how to combine R&B, pop, country and an acoustic guitar all in one and turn it into an amazing show.
His dance moves were alternated with a camp fire, trees and grass on stage. Oh and let’s not forget the music. His new album was very present, but the ‘oldies but goodies’ were all there and even though some of them are over ten years old, it still sounds new, fresh and cool. Guided by the band The Tennessee Kids, he gave a proper, musically strong show. And even though he is in this for a long time already, he is never arrogant or thinks he’s ‘the man’. He is still humble, nice and funny as well. He’s the kinda guy that you can have a beer with. Cheers mate!
